We’re excited to share some big news!
The Astoria Public Library has been named a 2026 DeMuro Award winner by Restore Oregon, recognizing excellence in historic preservation and community impact.
The transformational renovation of the Astoria Public Library modernized a mid-century facility into a 21st-century community hub and bringing attention to the pioneering work of local architect Ebba Wicks Brown.
The Astoria Public Library is one of nine historic projects across Oregon to receive the award, which is the state’s highest honor for the preservation, reuse and revitalization of architectural and cultural sites.
