Meg Shaffer Book Reading

We are delighted to announce that our very own new ALFA member Meg Shaffer will be reading from her latest book this Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the library Flag Room. Join this award-winning and best-selling author as she talks about her most recent novel, The Book Witch, a cozy fantasy set in Astoria. She will be joined by Andrew Shaffer, the illustrator of The Book Witch (and her husband). Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Hope to see you there!
